"One of the best gifts that we have given to ourselves - and our marriage - is to spend some time in retreat together - away from ministry and family. Most notably was a weeklong marriage retreat we attended when our three daughters were school age. We are proud of our marriage, now in our 38th year, and, when it comes right down to it, our marriage is one of the best gifts we have to give to others.
Likewise, one of the best gifts we have in the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh is the marriage of Bill and Dana Henry - and their commitment to helping others strengthen their marriages. We are thrilled to learn that Bill and Dana have established Steadfast and we will be excited to support their efforts and see how God shapes and uses their ministry within our diocese and in the wider church.”
The Rt. Rev. Jim and the Rev. Shari Hobby, Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh.
What a joy and blessing to have Bill and Dana Henry come and host a Steadfast Marriage Retreat at Resurrection Anglican. Their pastoral presence, honesty, humility, and interaction with each other provided such a strong foundation for their clear biblical teaching. The power of their testimony and witness to how Christ can heal wounds and resentments, transform family of origin challenges, and renew love and commitment between spouses of any age was both hopeful and practical. The couples who attended appreciated the balance of teaching and one on one time to process and apply the content to their own marriages. The retreat was a huge success and we look forward to having Bill and Dana back for another retreat!

Bill and Dana present biblical truth about healthy marriage with great wisdom, experience, candor, humor and most importantly, hope. We all need hope in our marriages and Bill and Dana deliver a giant dose of that. Everyone could relate to the stories they told and they spoke together with a chemistry that invited couples to engage in meaningful and productive ways to build our marriages. We had participants ranging from the recently engaged all the way to couples married for more than 4 decades that walked away refreshed and hopeful for their marriages.
